In October 2025 H.O.M.E partnered with Relief Crew to begin the construction of The Junior High School. Relief Crew connect non-profits that can benefit from the practical skills of yacht crew. We have been lucky enough to have them in Kokrobite continuing their amazing work with us, providing a safe and resourceful Junior High School for the kids!

The first phase was hugely successful and the building is well and truly under way! Phase 1 included the initial demolition of the original building, the digging of foundations, laying of concrete and even some brick laying - All by hand.

Phase 2 will commence in the beginning of February where Relief Crew will send out more volunteers to continue the work and hopefully complete the school! In Phase 2, the volunteers will continue the construction work as well designing the classrooms with painting and furniture building in preparation in moving the older classes into the first finished rooms. We are very excited to have a dedicated learning space for our older kids, we can’t wait to keep you updated!
